I got the part, it is definitely the "06-04" not the other! I figured as much.

This one if you are ok with nickel plated brass.

This one for stainless (and 20x cost)

I took some time looking around the interior and the only place that remotely makes any sense as an alternate route for a plumbed-in line is this spot with a punch out on the opposite side of the machine. It looks like it would be just large enough for a fitting on a kit to pass through.

There's no way you'd be getting a pre-terminated, braided line through the regular route the reservoir line takes, it's just too narrow. I went ahead and used the punch-out because it makes for fewer twists. Got everything buttoned up nicely.

Even found a silicone "drip tray" and set it underneath. If there are any leaks at the machine, it should run it into the sink nearby.

Very smart. I spent some time fiddling around today trying to figure out if it was even possible to run the braided LMLM plumb in kit like to the pump with a male x male union bspp (g) hex nipple. But I didn't want to machine out the bottom cover.

I opted instead to use a 1/8 barbed to 1/4 threaded and then 1/4 threaded to 3/8 compression to use a john guest line to the filter. We had a plumber here who was able to double check everything. So far... no aneurysm on the line.

Thanks everyone for the help and suggestions.

Hi, first time poster.
I just ordered the Micra. I plumbed my ECM technika v profi pid with just a 1/4 push fitting. The pressure specified by EMC was quite low (1.25bar), and the connection is not near any heating element, so didn't have the concern like the Micra.

You all seem more knowledgeable than me, so here is my question.
1. Should I just wait for the official plumb kit to come out ?
2. Assuming at 3Bar, could I get away with just hooking up my existing quick fitting to the reservoir tubing, similar to how espressoren's initial setup ?
3. If I were to take precaution. I will get 87110-06-04 listed by espressoren, + the reinforced tube. and convert it back to 1/4 with a john guest push fitting ?

if the bigger concert is the existing barb fitting can't stand up to pressure, is there a Universal Male 90° Fitting that will take 1/4" tubing? https://www.grainger.com/product/GRAING ... ane-55YN97 can take 120 PSI, which should be more than enough ?
What adjustment do you have to make with the pump after plumb in ? In the other end, I have a BTW filter system, with the thing to adjust inlet pressure.

I heard a rumor on another forum the Micra plumbing kit will be released by the end of the month.

I'd recommend either one of the 1/4" BSP fittings discussed (either an elbow push fitting or elbow threaded) or just waiting til the end of the month, if the rumor holds true. As you can tell I've tried pretty much everything and the correct 1/4" BSP is the only thing I'd be confident telling someone else to do.

If you're set on 1/4" push tubing there is a 87110-04-04

My Micra is arriving early! Coming next week! So I will be copying your setup, with the 3/8 tubing. Will see how it goes ! Thank you for everything. Did you have to trick the water tank senor ? I saw that being talked about in another post somewhere.

I just used an alligator clip wire to join the sensor springs.

Thank you so much for the expert advices ESPRESSOREN ! I was able to route the 3/8 tubing through the original reservoir hole. Sadly the tank has to go. Jumped the senor with some aluminum tape. Inline pressure at just under 3Bar, and pre-infusion for 5.5 seconds. It was amazing !

Spoke too soon, I must have gotten a defective tube, the Polyester Braid tube busted open after about 12 hours under 3bar of pressure. I was very lucky to be in the kitchen when I hear the pop, and was able to shut the water off quickly. End up getting normal everbilt 3/8 tubing from homedepot. It seems like there reinforced tub are made with multiple layers, and the inner layer must have a leak, and pressure build up in between, and eventually gave out. Also end up turning the elbow away from the boiler, and route it out of the same hole. Let's see how this goes, I feel good about the everbilt, even though it is rated for only 120 psi.

Wow, was that braided PVC or PU? Either way you're talking maybe 150PSI or 200PSI rating. Definitely defective. The two layer construction is interesting... or maybe it just split the inside from the outside with the braid in the middle. Assuming PU it's rated for high temperature and it doesn't look like it would have been near anything too hot.

When do those official kits come out again!?

The PE Everbilt stuff is used for RO and water filter installs so it should be fine as well. It's just so stiff, have to be careful not to kink.

I'm glad you caught it quickly. This is why I have mine sitting in a silicone "drip tray". Years ago I had a steel braided line to a dish washer pop and I was lucky to catch that quickly as well. The rubber underneath just ballooned out. It happens...
