My 10 year old Ulka EX5 pump in my La Cimbali M21 was getting very noisy when running water through it, but it did quieten down when the pump was under pressure when running a shot or back flushing. I replaced it with a new Ulka EX5 vibration pump but it gets noisier (i.e. buzzing sound) when it's under pressure when running a shot or back flushing. When I replaced the pump I also installed new rubber pump mounts so it's not the mounts.

It doesn't seem like any any internal water hoses are touching the metal frame or there are any hose restrictions. It's running water through fine and making nice coffee, but I have been advised that a new pump should be quieter when under pressure, not noisier.

Just wondering if there's a problem with my new pump. Appreciate some advice.
