Keep Steam Boiler Temperature on Maximum?

Wow, I just turned my Synchronika steam boiler temperature up to 270 degrees from where it had been, around 254, and what a difference! A little research told me that in 2018 there was an upgrade kit with PID & a valve for those who wanted this upgrade. The new ones come this way.
I steam small amounts of milk throughout the day. Surprisingly I don't find this increased steam more 'difficult' to work with, just different.
So do you keep your steam temps high? How do you decide? Inquiring minds wanna know.

The only "minus" about keeping the temperature higher is it uses more energy

Is the milk easier to use to make latte art when it is steamed at the higher temperature? Does it steam faster at the higher temperature?Surprisingly I don't find this increased steam more 'difficult' to work with, just different.

I've had the steam boiler on my Synchronika maxed out most of the time since I got it. That, together with the 4-hole ECM tip, has changed the way I foam milk. It's blindingly fast. Pulling the milk to the desired volume happens in the first few seconds; the rest of the time is spent heating and swirling. Milk for two 6-ounce cappuccinos takes about 20-seconds. With the steam set at 1 to 1.5 on previous machines, the pressure would sag fairly quickly. It sags on the Synk too, but since it starts at ~2-bar, it sags to pressure much higher than the pressure on my previous machines.

I've gotten into the habit of turning the machine off when I know I won't be having any spro for awhile, so that should take care of any wasted energy, but I appreciate saving energy.
I've still got the 2-hole tip for now. Maybe the next thing I buy for it will be a 4 hole tip. I just ordered the IMS Nanotech dispersion screen & a silicone gasket for an "upgrade". I have two Fellow frothing pitchers - the small one & the larger one, and use the small one for my modest amount of milk (unsweetened plain soy).
Thanks for the feedback!

The default steam boiler setting on my Speedster is 2.3 bar. I keep it at 2.1 bar. Works fine for me but then the Bosco does a good job steaming at 1.2 bar. Larger boiler so more steam I guess.
