How accurate is the bar pressure gauge on La Marzocco Linea Mini?

How much can I trust the bar pressure on the Mini to be correct? I read on other threads that some used a tool to measure the pressure and found it was off a whole bar. But I was not sure if maybe the tool was just not used right.

If you mean the actual brew pressure, it's probably not very accurate since the gauge is tee'd prior to the gicleur. It will read the pump pressure, which is higher than the brew pressure. The GS/3 MP gauge atop the brewhead would be a lot more accurate. Though honestly, I recommend treating the reading as "X", adjusting X-1 or X+1 bar, and deciding which produces the best tasting espresso.

Is that the same way on the Micra as well?

I assume it's true for any espresso machine that (a) has a gicluer, and (b) doesn't have a pressure gauge tapped directly into the brew chamber.
