Has any plumbed a La Marzocco Linea Mini using the BWT filter system from Whole Latte Love

Just wanted to see if anyone has used the BWT setup from whole latte love to a LMLM. I'm struggling to get an adapter to go from British threads to the 3/8" compression hose included in the plumb kit. I've looked at multiple hardware stores and come up short and WLL just sent me a part that was completely wrong. The issue is going from the male end of the filter to the female end of the water line going to my machine.

Jasper, Did you see WLL's video How To Install BWT Water Filter System for Plumbed In Espresso Machines. They showed a special hose kit starting at around 9:25 mark into the video. I am not sure if this kit (braided hose and threaded union) is what you need. Thanks for posting this thread because my LMLM is coming in a few weeks and I am going to also plumb it in and it is helpful to be ready for it.Jasper_8137 wrote:Just wanted to see if anyone has used the BWT setup from whole latte love to a LMLM. So the BWT is BSPP 3/8? That is what WLL suggests and the LMLM is 3/8 NPT?

This could work?

or here

Or use the WLL part plus this John Guest fitting (worked on my Slayer) and some 3/8" hose.

Jasper, Were you able to resolve your problem connecting the BWT to your LMLM?isabelo wrote:Jasper, Did you see WLL's video How To Install BWT Water Filter System for Plumbed In Espresso Machines. Not yet. Turns out the braided hose is 3/8" compression from the water filter and 1/4" BSP to the pump inlet on the Mini. I spoke with WLL today and they are going to trouble shoot it. I'll be sure to post once I get it sorted to save others the hassle.isabelo wrote:Jasper, Were you able to resolve your problem connecting the BWT to your LMLM?

Thank you Jasper. This thread will be very helpful for us (who will undergo same installation procedure) to know what parts needed to complete the hookup successfully. It will save time and energy.

StainlessSteelFittings.com has an incredible supply. They're not cheap, but they're worth the cost to me. I haven't found a source of custom braided hoses, so I use SS adapters with the ones that come with our machines.

The bwt hose is only made to go from the filter to your house. It's British thread to 3/8 compression. On the other side of the filter I use another bwt hose to the LA marzocco hose with a 3/8 compression male to male adapter I got from Grainger.
Every other solution I tried that involved adapters touching the filter ended up with leaks. Also the flush valve is great, I highly recommend using one in line to be able to get all the air out of the filter, until the water is clear and bubble free there's almost zero softening. I had to purge much more than the bwt manual says for a new filter to get it to run free of air.
Feel free to p.m. me or anything I can Talk to you if you want or whatever you need

Which I think will work. If it doesn't, I'll go with the BWT 3/8" hose with an adapter. I'll keep you all posted.
For those of you looking to plumb a LMLM, it may be worthwhile to look into alternative systems rather than BWT as this has been a huge pain...

You might check out the adapters that Chris Coffee has.
They may not be the cheapest, but when I picked up one for a Vivaldi S1 it was shipped super quick and it worked.
