That review is comparing the previous version of the Gaggia Classic. The 2019 model has some great upgrades including new pro 2-hole steam wand. At $200-300 less than the Silvia it's a great machine on price alone. takes about 10 - 15 minutes to heat up from cold. I normally steam milk first, switch off the steam, then flip the brew switch on drain about 1-2 ounces of water through the brew head, flip the switch off, then wait for it to cool down, usually takes about a minute or so, then pull my shot.
