Flojet and Roller Pump question

I have a practical question the use of a Flojet Pump.

The littlest 12V pump, 1 gallon per minute (link above) is rated for 30 psi. I assume that that is the maximum head it can pump against- but does anyone have experience with the backcheck valve on flojets? Is it fairly robust? I would like to know if the pump could handle a backpressure of say 10 bar without failing. I didn't see the answer in reading the specs - just that there is one.
Also, has anyone used roller pumps (peristaltic pumps) in an espresso environment? They might be quite easy to manually control.
Thanks
Joe

That's a lot of pressure; I would add a check valve.pocojoe wrote:I would like to know if the pump could handle a backpressure of say 10 bar without failing.
