ECM Giotto steam pressure gauge not zero

Hi all, looking at buying this ECM Giotto but wasn't sure what to think about the pressure gauge showing 0.5Bars. Any thoughts?

Mine did that. I assumed that the vacuum breaker stuck and the gauge experienced vacuum. It was a bit of a PITA, but I removed the gauge and repositioned the needle. It worked fine for the next few years until I switched to a new machine.
