I would love to try different steam tips on my machine (and have read many forums where people are unable to do so because of the size and threading on the steam arm), so I was wondering if anyone has successful changed out the steam arm on the Breville Dual Boiler BES920XL.

I looked into this and was advised that it would be a non-standard type of upgrade that would probably be more $ than it was worth.

I ended up modifying the standard steam tip, there is another large thread with the results:

I took my steam tip to a machine shop today and had the holes drilled to 1mm. I steamed some milk in a much shorter time and it was great! Thanks for the suggestion!
