For anyone into these machines, BedBath&Beyond carries them... and is going out of business. My local one had two in stock, currently at 30% off. AFAIK that discount is going to 40% as of tomorrow. They also had three of the ones with the integrated grinder.

Has anyone been able to replace the hot water dial with a matching steam lever? I want to keep the default Breville look and it would be nice to have a bit more control for slayer mod/pressure profiling than just the knob.

Any matching aftermarket levers that look close?

Thanks!

Our BDB has stopped filling the steam boiler as many have posted about. I'm trying to narrow down which parts I need after searching and reading up on the forum. The steam boiler will heat up if I fill it manually with water but will not refill on it's own. Does this mean I need to replace the fuse or just the NTC sensor for the steam boiler? Maybe I should do both while I'm in there trying to fix it? Curious if anyone could pinpoint which item I need based on this info. I've tried the engineers reset and that did not trigger the tank to fill back up.

Thanks for your help!

Check the pump electrical connections. Most likely you have one connection come loose. The connections are behind the white plastic controller unit to the left of your water tank. Remove the metal cover, and remove the controller unit (no need to open it), and you find two pumps. The right one is the culprit. Check its connections.

To me it sounds like your fill sensor probes on the steam boiler are scaled up and not providing a proper read. You should start by pulling them and cleaning them off. Once you eliminate the probes, you can then move onto the steam boiler pump.

I have checked the steam boiler probes and they were clean. I should have some time this weekend to open it back up and check the cables as well. Appreciate the responses!

Are there part numbers and sizes for these smaller o-rings. I'm aware of one leaking on my machine but didn't have replacement at the time.

Hey, I recently removed the microswitch from the hot water knob in my BDB. This is great for pressure profiling but if I just want hot water not much seems to come out now. Why is that? Is the switch required to pump water through to the hot water outlet?

The micro switch is needed to actuate the solenoid to divert flow from the group head. You can re-install the switch and adjust the outer knob position on the inner cam that activates the switch. This will give you full flow control and still allow you to open the valve fully and get water only from the spigot.
