What is your favourite steam valve and why?

I'm rebuilding a machine that has CMA style valves. These valves have flimsy knob mounting, multi turn to open, don't mount on the face plate and are all round nasty. The Synesso style levers are sweet but thats some serious modification and money to install. There must be some good alternatives that are easy to use, reliable and look good.
