I've been watching this Korean portafilter for a while now and was excited to just read that they will soon be launching sales outside Korea.

It sure beats my current practice of shooting video of the pressure gauge on a Scace 2 and then transcribing the pressure readings from the video, and it is more flexible than the Smart Espresso profiler as it can be used on multiple machines that take the usual 58mm portafilters. However, it is restricted to the installed basket.

English website: https://belka-eng.imweb.me/home AFAIK, cost is unknown. Cost in Korea is about $650USD, not including VAT.

Almost all of the available video is in Korean, but here's a ten minute video with English subtitles from a year ago:

It's one of those things that could've been out years ago. As for the filter basket, I guess it has to use its proprietary one which means no boutique high / ultra / hyper precision aftermarket baskets.

You can specify the basket. Default is IMS Precision B70TH26.5M. However, the basket can't easily be swapped as some sensors are attached to the basket.

Seems like it has to be done at the factory thus no swapping at all by the users.

And what about cleaning, if you can't remove the basket?

The bottom plate of portafilter is operable for inside cleaning. https://belka-eng.imweb.me/store/?idx=148
