Adding a pressure gauge to Rancilio Silvia

Hey guys, first post on this forum.
I drilled out my Silvia cover to put an internal pressure gauge on the inside. The kit I got that included the gauge and the copper tubing has way more copper than I need. Instead of cutting it to install it I just wrapped it around in the bit of an ugly loop. Will these tight loops have an effect on the pressure gauge reading accurately? Is it worth it to redo it with a lot shorter copper tube?

The loops won't affect the accuracy and may have the benefit of reducing needle bounce.AlexCA wrote:Will these tight loops have an effect on the pressure gauge reading accurately?

Thanks for the reply Dan! The gauge is liquid filled and from reading that post it sounds like liquid filled won't have this issue. I didn't see any bouncing when I tested it briefly but unfortunately I sprung a leak in the copper tubing by twisting it too much so it looks like I'll have to redo it and I may as well use a better size tube at this point.
