Anyone thought of taking a module from a Profitec model that has a shot timer and adding it to a 500?

I saw 3rd party solutions but they look terrible.

How would you relocate the PID? (are you talking Pro 500 PID, or non PID version)?

What about the ACE DotShot?

Oh I have no clue how it would work. I just saw others with timers and I thought that would be cool. PID 500

That AceDotshot sure looks interesting. Would it work on a 500 PID?

How do the ones function on other Profitec models? Is it the PID that doesn't allow it to work?

It is controlled by the electronic controller. I assume the controller has an input from the lever to turn on the pump. Profitec simply disabled that feature in the firmware. I wouldn't trust that firmware from a 700 would work in a 500. Profitec could provide firmware to enable that feature but with the PID behind the tray there would not be much point. I'd like Profitec to use the PID to display a screen water temp and a shot timer and be mounted on front. They'd have to add a new physical sensor near screen.

Makes sense now. Thanks. I am thinking of ways to sidemount without drilling that aceshotdot.
