I have a Profitec Pro 700 that has recently been having an issue so right now it been taken off the counter until I can get it fixed. The other day I went to pull a shot of espresso and the pump didn't switch on right away. So I turned it off and tried again but I got the same...
So I've had this machine for about a year and never had any issues but it stopped pressurizing and now the espresso doesnt come out on the first click, only after I do it again I get a watered down espresso shot. Has anyone else had this issue and any tips on fixing it?

My most important get-through-the-day tool has a leak at the solenoid elbow pictured :(
This parts seems difficult to source and I'd rather not have to replace the entire solenoid assembly due to cost. ($140 here in New Zealand).
In the recent Hedrick/Gagne video, Gagne made some comments about making the flow from the shower screen more even should make extraction more even. He didn't have data to back it up, but I agree it makes a lot of sense.
