Social media is obviously lit up with all the small businesses that are going to face very difficult uncertain times ahead. In light of the widespread mandatory closures, many are offering discount codes for online orders, hoping to ride out this storm a bit better. If you're so inclined, let's help out the small folks.

I think it would be cool if users would post links to small private roasters, categorized by their city. I'll edit mine as I see more. But here in SF I saw today that St Frank is offering 30% for online orders.

I'll bold cities/areas and place the discount code below like this.

San Francisco Bay Area

AndyTown Coffee Roasters Free Shipping over $30

St Frank Coffee : staywell (30% off- online orders)

Linea Caffe : GET20 (Free Shipping is already included and 20% off 10 or 16oz orders. 5 pound bags get 30% off using GET30

Highwire Coffee offers Free Shipping on all orders over $20

Hello, All. My local roaster, www.blackriverroasters.com just announced a sale - 20% off and free shipping through April 1! These guys are awesome and have amazing coffee. Plus, they give 16 oz bags, not 12 oz.

Check them out!

Just found out that Peet's has free shipping on all orders. You have to enjoy darker roasts :).

Montréal/Ottawa/Toronto

One of the best local roasters - Blue Barn Coffee - is now offering free shipping to Montréal/Ottawa/Toronto with a $30+ order. No code needed.

(I realize that doesn't sound like much of a deal to Americans, but postal/shipping charges in Canada are much higher than the equivalent USPS flat-rate-box rates, especially for companies whose market is primarily local, and thus shipping low volumes.)

Any one in particular you recommend? Tempted by the Organic Quality Hill Blend.

Other roasters have discount shipping currently: Onyx, Olympia coffee, Nossa, Blue Bottle, B&W (over $25 is free).
Happy to stock up and keep roasters busy. Looking forward to other suggestions!

Blue Bottle is owned by Nestle, definitely not a local roaster...

My favorites in the east coast are:

My favorite is the espresso blend! Ethiopian is also fruity.
