Been pulling Ritual Roasters Seasonal Espresso blend, "Day Drinker".
I was able to duplicate the recommended brewing parameters on the inside of the Ritual Label for this specific blend, using a Linea Mini with a 17g Strada basket. Specifically, 17.2g, 30 seconds, 199-200f, 9 bar and 32g of beverage out. Using a Monolith conical grinder.
Wow, this is a really sweet espresso blend. As straight up espresso, perfectly balanced between sweetness and acidity. Mouth feel is medium thick and the flavor lingers for a long time. Really great stuff. Over milk in a cappuccino, the ethiopian character really comes through, with the coffee seemingly making the milk sweeter.
As seems to be usual for Ritual, this pulls textbook perfect with no special prep. I use RDT because the humidity is really low but no other grooming of the grinds is necessary.
