Last year, I tried making eggnog cappuccinos with rum - they were ok, but I know I can do better...

Anyone with good recipes for boozy espresso based holiday drinks?

I love to replace the milk in my latte with coquito during the holiday season. I usually make a few mason jars full for the holiday season, then I just hit it with the steam wand to warm it up before adding to my espresso.

I had to look the recipe up, but that looks great! I do have a sweet tooth, I must admit.

These recipes are quite good:
The lemon on the rim makes an impressively big difference in the experience.

Probably not the espresso drinks you're asking about but I do have a couple of cocktails that I made up with coffee/espresso. One for this time of year and the other for any morning that requires whiskey:

Caribbean Christmas
2 Oz Eggnog
1 Oz Spiced Rum
.5 Oz White Rum
.5 Oz Coffee Liqueur (St. George's or Mr Black are ideal)
.25 Tsp Cinnamon

Saint Torino
1 Oz Bourbon
1 Oz Blended Scotch (JW Red is fine)
.75 Oz Drambuie
.5 Oz Lemon Juice
.5 Oz Galliano Ristretto Liqueur

For both drinks you can use substitute the liqueurs using chilled espresso, instead.

Also from Miguel's homeland, haven't tried it--picked up a bottle of Licor 43 yesterday/ayer in order to try it in the near future, Carajillo https://theothersideofthetortilla.com/2 ... lo-recipe/

I love Licor 43 in my espresso!

I keep a bunch of liqueurs around and add them to espresso as the mood strikes. Sambuca is pretty traditional. Frangelico, too. But this time of year you can try Spiced Pear liqueur, Ginger liqueur, etc... for a seasonal touch.
