I apologize in advance if this has already been discussed (I'm guessing it probably has somewhere in the archives, but cursory searches revealed recommendations on higher-end machine/grinder).

I enjoy trying different beans and was wondering if someone could recommend a "lighter" roast ('light' being such a subjective-and at times contentious-term). The stock setting on my grinder was laughably coarse (I had to adjust the inner burr setting to '2'-nearly the finest setting-to accommodate medium roasts, which has worked very well) so I'm obviously compromised a bit by the performance of my grinder (hence the request for "lighter" roast). The lightest I've gone so far would probably be Onyx's Geometry, which was palatable but a bit too acidic (but that was before learning about the effect of temperature and the benefit of grinding finer and lowering the dose).

Anyway, I'm rambling. Anything interesting or a bit different?
