It is certainly a lot cheaper to add a timer to the old Robur rather than buy a new one with timer.Theodore wrote:Talking today with a big coffee shop manager in Athens, I was told that they will change from three phase Roburs, to E Roburs, electronically dosing, which they will come in Greece soon .
He told me that they have some ventilation system, for cooling coffee and grind to dose.
They have high temp with the old Roburs, plus wasting of coffee.
Is the ventilation system from the Mazzer factory, or is it added by someone else?

If I understood well, it would be originally from Mazzer.
I will be in touch with them, so I will write about when the grinders come here.

At Coffeefest Seattle the Mazzer guys said the electronic Robur(110version) cost a little over 5K. The ones they had there didn't appear to have a different design for cooling.
