He told me that they have some ventilation system, for cooling coffee and grind to dose.
They have high temp with the old Roburs, plus wasting of coffee.
It is certainly a lot cheaper to add a timer to the old Robur rather than buy a new one with timer.

Is the ventilation system from the Mazzer factory, or is it added by someone else?

If I understood well, it would be originally from Mazzer.
I will be in touch with them, so I will write about when the grinders come here.

At Coffeefest Seattle the Mazzer guys said the electronic Robur(110version) cost a little over 5K. The ones they had there didn't appear to have a different design for cooling.

When you were able to stop laughing, did you ask them "Dollars or Lire?" :-)
