My final use of the Anbessa was a liter pourover shared at the local Farmers Market. Paying it forward, with a hint of blueberry, for some donations to the local Boys and Girls Club, my own roasts alongside. Too bad Intelligentsia accounts are so far away, else I would try their offerings more often.

Since I single dose, I tried a tweak:

Put a dose of beans in a cup and leave them to warm on the cup warmer for half an hour. I measured 115f. Pre-warmed beans allow for a much finer grind, for reasons I can't fully explain. In any case, it let me run the grinder much finer for the same time, dose and beverage output. Did the ristretto this way and I think it matches the 6-bar profile from the info card.
