Spent some days in Salerno, the city of Motta and Trucillo. I wasn't able to see not even one bar serving Motta.
Found a couple of bars serving Trucillo. After drinking one, I asked the lady at the counter if she would sell me a Trucillo branded cup with its saucer. She gave me one for free, plus a tiny glass, and apologized for not being new ones. She made my day.

Made a iced latte becoming of this week with the. Kimbo superior and I love it. Had 1 bag in mason jars and the other still in the bag in the freezer. Nice that these work well over what most coffees wouldn't. Not even sure if I want to pick up my more expensive bag from caffe losso. But going to when my conical comes and do a side by side

You guys piqued my interest in trying Oro out. I normally order from wholelattelove, but they don't seem to have that one in stock.

ok, been comparing lavazza super crema vs danesi gold. easily the danesi gold is better. its actually now my favorite italian blend iv ever had.
I also prefer the oro or the kimbo over the super crema. the super crema is very good though and I enjoy it as well.
my new ranking is:

1- Danesi Gold
2- Oro caffe Premium
2- Kimbo superior
4- Lavazza super crema
7- Caffé Motta lounge bar
7- Caffe Motta espresso bar
7- Segafredo intermezzo
9- Vergnano
9- Danesi red
10- Kimbo Napoletano"

Try the Lavazza Top Class, I'm pretty sure it will make it on your top ten

I am bit surprised that Bazzara DODICIGRANCRU is not mentioned in the topic (or search is just not working for me;)).
For me, one of the best Italian blends.
And of course Arcaffe Rome, Italian classic, blend created in 1926.
Both worth trying for fans of espresso italiano.

Pawel, many of us here are beginners in the world off bagged Italian espresso. a lot of us are users of fresh roasted (within 10 days or earlier...then rested) American style roasts, including both Single origin and blends. The blends tend to be more on the "fruity" side, as opposed to the more "brooding" darker roasted...or dark medium roast Italian blends, many with 10-25% Robusta added. If you've read this thread, you know many here really enjoy coffee such as Kimbo Superior. it's always nice to hear of more to check for.

The issue in the states is that often coffee's available to Europe are available here. No importers. I'll check the 2 you posted. Thanks and welcome aboard!!!!

EDIT...http://shop.bazzara.it/en/coffee/13-dod ... s-1kg.html

Only available in Italy and Slovenia.

I HAVE to add...look at this origin description:
Jamaica Blue Mountain, Salvador, Puerto Rico, San Domingo, Mexico, Honduras, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Brazil, India, Ethiopia

described as Rum, orange peel, tobacco.
