Howell - Freeze Your Beans Coffee Tasting

Has anyone been to this or are you going to this?

Is it about greens or roasted? I'd love to hear more and wish I could get education about anything coffee near me. But there isn't squat by way of this kind of thing near where I live.

You'll find more info about freezing beans on his website. George has been vacuum sealing & freezing his greens for many years. Sounds like they are talking about comparing previously frozen roasted beans vs a recent roast. I've attended several of his coffee lecture/tastings in the past but I'm already in the "freezing works" camp so I'll skip this one. Besides I hate driving in Boston!

If it's focused on roasted I'd be curious to hear how long they were frozen, how long out of freezer, when frozen post roast etc...

I wish I lived close to somewhere like this or counter culture, etc where I could learn more. Or even a cupping event for that matter.....

Lots of threads discussing freezing coffee right here on HB. I doubt that you would hear anything new if you've read those.

Trust me I've read them all. Im not questioning whether or not freezing works.

As much as I love this forum, it doesn't replace real world experiences, so I'm just trying to live vicariously through others..

I've been freezing roasted coffee since 2007 & greens since 2009. Lots of real world experience! PM with any questions.
