Just to give you an example of how George Howell is "overpriced" - I just checked their current coffee offerings online. They are selling a Best of Panama coffee called La Esmeralda Cañas Verdes-Washed for 4oz/$65- this lot sold for 16oz/$46 in last years auction. This is a 5.9X price hike. Compared for example, to Klatch Roasters, who is offering another Best of Panama coffee "Mama Cata Geisha" for 6oz/$30 which was sold for 16oz/$52 at this same auction- this is 1.5X mark-up. Many other great roasters are currently offering BoP coffees (Campos, Equator, Dragonfly, PTs) all pricing between 1.5X-2.67X. You can make the calculations yourself.
