Hello
I am in the Chicago area for few weeks, currently I have a flair pro and 1zpresso JX pro grinder with me , suggest me some good roasters to try.
I got a bag of Metric from the wholefoods which was around 2 weeks old. I prefer lighter roasts.
Thanks

I like Ipsento and Gaslight. They are within walking distance of each other in the Wicker Park area, where there are a lot of other cool cafes

I believe Intelligentsia is in Chicago, although IIRC they roast more medium.

My go to for beans is Reprise Roasters. Two locations, Evanston and Avondale.
When Adam, the owner is on bar it's my favorite espresso in the city.

Used to buy beans at Star Lounge, Their roasting facility, Dark Matter, is around the corner. Haven't been there or used their beans in a long time

Ipsento has two locations. Ipsento 606 on Milwaukee Ave at the 606 hiking/bike trail is a beautiful space. Wine and cocktails after 5PM.
Not a milk drink person but the Cardamom Latte is worth a try.
