Just ordered some of this. Curious what setup you have? I got 2 12oz bags. I'll be dialing it in on 2 Monolith Max grinders, one with SSW burrs and the other with SLM burrs...unless I am blown away by the shots from the first grinder. I can't imagine I'll be using my conical. Pulling shots on a Londinium L1 Compressa.

Anything from the wonderful Panama Elida Estate typically has a strong blueberry note. Dragonfly does a nice job with this...

And one more...hard to get, but an amazing coffee...Finca Kilimanjaro out of El Salvador. Extraordinary stuff, a bit limited, but worth the search. Kind of like the Elida crossed with a yemen... Try it from Willoughby's...

Surprised Black and White hasn't been mentioned. They specialize in quirky, fruit forward coffees. I've always enjoyed their "The Future" series.

I don't know if I would say Berry "bomb", it's been a long time since I've had a true bomb, not even Dragonfly though the Esmeralda mentioned above is great, or B&W etc at least not how used to be, feel like Ethiopians crops in recent years nosedived in quality. I even had some insane bombs a few years ago from Happy Mug of all places, like mind blowing good to where even milk drinks tasted like a blueberry sucker punch and ever ly bag after a couple orders have pretty much sucked and not a fraction near what used to be, stopped ordering from them after multiple fairly bad bags.

But the one offering I've always found well rounded and solid, pretty consistent, is Vessel from Eote. Have another bag right now and it's pulling spot on and good blueberry notes that mesh well (not acidic at all etc). I've always enjoyed this and even some friends I turned onto it a few years ago still order frequently

Whats odd is I've had a lot of Sidamo Guji in past year and like 95% have been mehhh at best. But Vessel is always great all around.

Description is spot on, just a very well balanced Ethiopian.

I got this. It was a nice coffee but I didn't get crazy berries. The hunt continues...

If you make your way to Sacramento or have them distribute in your area, the Chocolate Fish Misty Valley usually has strong strawberry/dark cherry notes. Granted I haven't tried their latest shipment.

Hi!
How's it going with the beans?

Sorry @BostonBuzz did not get the POW I got with mine. I think they were about a month off roast so it could be they just need to hit that time frame.

FYI, to answer your question I have a modded NS Oscar II and a DF64 with the Italmill burrs.

I used to be a big fan of Klatch. In fact, they were my first speciality coffee experience. However, due to poor customer service and subpar cafe experience we now support other roasters.

Locally(social,) Portola, Stereoscope. Checkout Black and White roasters or Proud Mary etc... There is a metric ton of options here!

If you have some coin to spare visit Play Cafe in the Orange Circle. They specialize in european roasters.
