Just had to chime in to give some props for the Black Torpedo. Nice body and enough acidity to keep things interesting. Really fast shipping to my area, too. We're happy enough with it to use AJ in place of CC when we need to order coffee from the internet.

Was looking this afternoon to make an order and was just trying to decide, and noticed that AJ's Coffee prices from his site are vastly reduced compared to what they were when they thread was started. So I thought if someone had been on the fence about placing an order, perhaps the reduced prices would spur an order, plus he has a coffee of the week that is only 10 bucks for a 12 oz bag. www.ajcoffeeco.com

Thanks for the kind words, Jon!

Nick,

Our prices were what they were to protect the interests of our local and regional accounts, as well as the fact that good coffee is already ridiculously cheap, all things considered. We weren't trying to make a lot of money (especially since retail was not our primary focus at the time, like it is now), but we did want consumers to get comfortable with the idea of coffee that is more fairly priced.

Now that retail has become our primary focus, prices are down. The $10 Tuesday was just a fun idea to get more people to try more variety more often. :D
