Going to be in north Scottsdale for a few weeks in late January and February and looking for a few recommendations, good pastry a plus
We've been to most of the usual suspects in and around old town over the past few years and are looking for a few new spots to try
It would be great to find a cool spot around the pinnacle peak area which in the past has seemed to be the coffee desert

The two most well known, and likely to be HB style, are:
Press in Scottsdale Quarter
Cartel - various
Others-
Provision Coffee - haven't tried it looks good.
If you are up in Cave Creek exploring, Local Johnnys for espresso/caps and lunch.
Pastry - Lior the Baker
Chompies - Bagels and Rye Bread
Check out the Farmers Market on Saturday Mornings in Old Scottsdale for interesting things to snack on. A few coffee people there, but have usually had enough at home so haven't tried them. Everything from brisket, to breads and fresh veggies, pastries etc.
