A final post that has nothing to do with coffee.

Although I rented a car, I only used it 3 times during my stay, simply because of the wonderful weather and pedestrian-friendly streets. In our part of the country, pedestrians and bikes are treated as obstacles that cars must overcome with great haste. I've learned drivers in NC assume you'll get the heck out of their way post-haste; while in Seattle, I was surprised to see cars actually waiting (?) for me to cross instead of nearly driving over me when turning right on red. They take their bike lanes seriously too:

One restaurant recommendation I received offline from drgary was for Serious Pies. As the name suggests, they take their pizza seriously! Wood stove baked, light crispy crust pizza is hard to find in my area; Serious Pie's reminded me of the pizzas on the Côte d'Azur:

I forced myself to order the chocolate budiino. It pegs the chocolate richness scale:

Before closing, below is the obligatory tourist photo:

Thanks for the recommendations! I look forward to returning to Seattle. :D

Nice!

The group of Tom Douglas restaurants are quite enjoyable. Serious Pie is no exception.

I'm glad you tried a coffee by Kuma. That is one of the stars of the Seattle roasting scene.
