Villager in crown heights is great. Always rotating selection. Throwing that out there more for others on this forum - it's not close to Midtown and more of a neighborhood spot. Could tie in with Prospect Park and Brooklyn Museum if you wanted though.

Le Cafe Coffee. The one at 250 W. 57th near Columbus Circle is very pretty... I was skeptical, then pleasantly surprised.

Anyone tried Blank Street? They have lots of locations and not just in NYC.

I've had their coffee a few times from a couple locations. It was good but nothing exceptional. There was no info on what beans they were serving, and when I asked the barista they just said it's their own house blend but didn't know anything beyond that.

Little Collins 3rd ave location is still great.
house blend from counter culture, modbar, and most important: well trained baristas!
They've been good for a long time.
