You'll mostly find Mexican Coffees at Medium Roasts, I don't know any specialty coffee in Campeche
Headed to Centro part of town and will figure out the bus system. See what I can stumble upon and then once I get the hang of the buses, will do a bus-coffee crawl.

Thanks, db

Cafe Cuco, 400 meters from Catedral in Merida.

Ordered a cortado and got a latte. 3 young staff, working hard. Excellent Chiapas, medium roast. Tons of chocolates. Took a pound. High end shops have coffee, none of it branded.

Will try and find a press for the house.

<Wife tried to sneak it away from me before church. I told her, "Repent.">

You're just about in walking distance to 'Blue Bag' roastery. Worth the trip!

I will make it some time this week. We have walked 10 miles in last two days per my mujer's pedometer. These 75-yr old legs need a rest.

Headed out to Progreso and Chelem tomorrow; Uxmal on Tues in that it will be cooler then. Been touching 90* and we Minnesotans are wilting.

Well, if you're shorter than 95cm tall you can go to Progresso from Merida at a reduced child's 'niños' rate.

Last year when we were in Merida I closed the deal and bought our Speedster while we were there.
