What are the lessons? Your OP states "see schedule below"? I checked also the URI you provided and no lessons listed beyond session 2, session 3 and session 5.
Are all sessions included with the $35 ticket or is there limited space for each session?

Thanks for the interest!

This is a very casual event and the $35 is to cover the cost of renting the space and food/drink for the whole day.
We are literally using the back area of the roaster's facility so imagine folding chairs, concrete floors and a few tables for counter tops.

The sessions we plan on are these:
10:00 AM Welcome Coffee & Pastries
10:30 AM Session 1 - Caffè Umbria Roasting
11:00 AM Session 2 - Grinding, Extraction & Tasting Tips
12:00 PM Delivered Pizza Lunch
1:00 PM Session 3 - Milk Frothing Tips & Practice
2:00 PM Session 4 - Group Head Servicing
3:00 PM Session 5 - Hands-on Practice
4:30 PM Wrap Up

So that's the sessions... I'll fix the "see schedule below" to "see schedule above" or something like that. Sorry!

You are welcome (encouraged) to stay the whole time.

The first session is a tour of Caffe Umbria's roasting facility. The other 4 sessions will be lessons, including the servicing session. $35 is all inclusive and includes all sessions. Hope to see you there? Do you have a La Pavoni lever?

Thank you John and Bruce for putting this together!

I had a lot of fun, (and I think my son enjoyed himself as well)

It was the first time that I had been to this Caffe Umbria location. The other location in downtown Chicago is much smaller, but this one was quite large and a well thought out and welcoming space.

I enjoyed the roaster tour with Marcin, the hospitality of Caffe Umbria, but especially the conversation and social interaction with other lever heads.

It was also fun to see the Umbria baristas pop over during their breaks and try their hands at pulling shots on the Pavonis. They got the knack pretty quickly I think, we might have converted a few more leverheads...
