Thanks for the report. Crema Coffee changed owners and I haven't tried it since. I've heard good things about another not too far away option is Fount Coffee in Morrisville.

Crema didn't have a ton of flavor to their coffee, but it was wasn't charcoal. My standards for a public coffee shops have decreased to pretty much nil. I'm currently at Jubala and my faith has been restored. Assuming they use Counter Culture for their espresso they have it figured out. My home roasted beans are approaching this level. Makes me wonder what the perfect cup of coffee everyone else is chasing is actually like.

If you live in the Triangle area, join us tomorrow! We'll be doing a taste test comparing the La Marzocco Swift Mini and Mahlkonig Peak. The tasting will begin around 8:30am.

There's always the usual espresso get-together and cupping at 10am. There's a crowd of 40-80 for the cuppings, depending on holidays.
