October and November are generally busy months for me, but I could probably do either Oct 19, or Nov 9 or Nov 16

That puts us down to November 9 and 16 as unconflicted dates.

Both of those dates are best for me.

Both of these days are OK with me too.

The 9th should work for me!
What goes on at these meetups?
What should I bring?
This would be my first meetup and I'm looking forward to it!

The get together date is Nov 9 (if I hear from anyone in the next week about a conflict, it can still be moved to Nov 16).
I'm thinking of something ultra-hearty: lamb shanks braised in mole (the sauce, not the critter or the mining gear). But if anyone has trouble with that, I'm open to alternatives.
On the coffee side, we can take advantage of the levers and profiling gear people bring to try all kinds of different approaches to espresso: traditional Italian, Seattle styles, and third wave styles. So bring a smorgasbord of different coffees to see how they fare. We've been getting fairly light roast/third wavy in the last few meetups, so it might be fun to have a wider variety and a reality check in this one.

Missed the last two meet ups. Don't know if I'm working on the 9th or the 16th and won't know until closer to the date. Hope to make this one.
