Coffee scene in Palm Springs?

Anyone familiar with the coffee scene in Palm Springs (if there's such a thing)? I'm heading there one week from now to attend an event and I'd be grateful for suggestions of places worthy of a visit.

Cartel Coffee is based out of Tempe but they opened a shop out there about a year or two ago. They're worth checking out.

Not much on Sprudge, you could listen to their podcast episode 15 live from Palm Springs from 2016 here to see if they have any suggestions, but a significant amount of time has past so things may well have changed since then. (I didn't listen long but the beginning didn't really touch on any Palm Springs locations)

Modernist Weekly recommends Ernest Coffee and Koffi here

Cartel Coffee sounds good, I've had great coffee at their PHX Sky Harbor airport location.

Just checking for updates... I'll be going there in March again...

I didn't have much luck the last 2 years...
