Chicago HBer Meetup July 9

Hi All Chicago HBers,

Joel Klein will be in town July 9th; we'll have a get together at my place starting around 10 am an going until the late afternoon. If you can make it, please come, arrive anytime.

Those of you who have come before know that Joel used to be the dean of Chicago HBers until he moved to Tucson. As usual for get togethers, bring some interesting gear, food or drink. Especially bring some interesting coffee. I'll have lunch, brewing and shot making gear on hand.

Please PM or post to this thread if you can come, so I can get a head count.

It's the pink building at the corner of Bryn Mayr. There's underground parking with an entrance at the south end of the building, off Sheridan.

Dang. I was going to offer to host something at my place this summer, I finally got the kitchen mostly finished remodeling to where I can host guests.
Maybe I'll send out a invite bit later in the year.

I'll try to keep the weekend open, I really enjoy these get togethers.

Have any of you used the Sawada coffee yet on your machines? (the proprietary blend Metropolis is making for the Sawada Cafe on Green Street)
I will be glad to bring some for us to grind and brew

I'm going to try to make it, but July 9 is actually my birthday and my folks will be in town. I'll try to see if I can sneak away for a few hours, but it might not happen. This is how much I love coffee :p

I can bring some roasted coffee, I can also bring a Cremina if no one else is bringing one.
