Anyone up for a meetup?

Phoenix/Scottsdale area, any day 6-11 April and 17-19 April.

Tucson, 14-16 April. Pete, where are you? Ol' Dumpshot, go to a Wildcat baseball game. Need to get a pod of 2 beforehand for social distance seating.

Cartel in both cities? Wide open if you know the shops better. Sing out.

I would love to meet some local folks, count me in. Don't have a date preference at the moment, but Phx or Scottsdale.

We might want to meet at Press as an alternative. Let's see when we know who is coming.

Are the cafes all open? I have my two Modernas aboard so not as much an issue for me.

Pretty much everything. They also have a Creamistry there which is liquid nitrogen ice cream. Fun experience.

Really depends on where people are coming from. If we have interest maybe one would show us their roasting operation, but I am guessing still too early for that due to Covid.

Let's see what the interest is and then we can plan.

Dave, I'm interested in a Phoenix meet in April. I should be fully immunized by then.

Other suggestions which came into my inbox are:

...better coffee and pastry than Cartel are berdena: (Cartel gave me a green, under roasted shot two years ago and the barista lectured me on how to roast)
http://www.berdenas.com

fourtillfour (weekend car enthusiast scene)
https://fourtillfour.com/blogs/news/four-coffee

and regroup (bicycle shop with a 2 group slayer).
https://regroupwithus.com

I love bicycles and coffee. We have a shop in MSP with that dual theme. AngryCatfish.
https://www.angrycatfishbicycle.com

(Which reminds me that the real estate agent gave me a $25 gift cert from them 8 years ago which sits unused on the bookrack. No wonder they push gift certs).

Hey Dave! Nice to hear from you.

I am fully vaccinated and would be open to a socially distanced outdoor coffee talk. I am in Tempe, so a Phx/Tempe/Scottsdale spot would be good. Cartel has multiple locations, as does Press Coffee. And other options are out there as well.

Anyone else around?
