I am the second owner of these low fines burrs from SSP. They were very good for both espresso and filter. My guess is that they have ground 15-25 pounds of coffee. You can see that I unfortunately neglected to set my knob coarse enough before turning the grinder on so the coating got rubbed off. This didn't happen on my original installation but later. Consequently, I was able to taste the results before and after the mistake and I wasn't able to discern any change to the taste or performance.


*My understanding is that these are the low fines burrs but I wasn't the original purchaser and we all know how confusing the terminology can get when distinguishing between the 98mm SSP burrs.
