Beautiful Modded Kitchenaid dual boiler espresso machine with accessories. Pulls great shots after a 15-20 minute warmup. (machine & portafilter) Steaming milk is also very good after I made the mods below. It's a great machine under a year old, but I ended up upgrading to a way bigger machine way before expecting to. Make a better choice than a new Gaggia classic for not much more and way better fit and finish.
Price: $750 obo (buyer pays shipping or pickup in Northwest Arkansas)
Includes the pictured accessories. (Blank for back-flushing, bottomless portafilter, pressure gauge for testing/adjusting pressure, magnetic portafilter funnel, custom 58.5 wood handled tamper, grey knock-box, IMS Competition Basket double basket, and IMS triple basket.
Changed shower screen holder from stock aluminum to brass
IMS Competition Screen
Silicone Portafilter Gasket
Rancilio Silvia V3 Steam wand - further modded to be no-burn
Replaced stock boiler gaskets to silicone
Updated with Gaggia approved thermostat on steam boiler from 145C to 155C - Better pressure and quality of steam
Changed the rubber feet from ¼ inch to 1 inch - Needed the extra height for larger steaming pitchers.
Installed no leak commercial OPV, and adjusted to 9 bar pressure. (see pic below)
