The shot timer is volumetric, you can set a "single" and a "double".

I have a two tampers, flat and domed. Two portafilters. A double and triple basket. A blank basket for backflush.

It's an April '07 machine, extremely well maintained. This is the 15/20 amp unit. I have it plugged into 20A outlet. If you only have 15A breakers, there is a switch under the warming tray that must be flipped to 15A. Most kitchen circuits are 20A, but may not have the 20A receptacle, which could be put in. It works fine on either, but steam comes up quicker from a cold start on 20 amp
