I have decided to sell my Vario; I had wanted to keep separate grinders for both brew and espresso, but I simply don't have the space to accommodate two grinders and an espresso machine. While I prefer the Vario for drip, the Niche is good enough and I like the workflow with it a little more.

I've had the Vario for a few years. Except for the first couple of months after I got my decent and before the Niche arrived, the Vario was only ever used for drip coffee. It has the flap mod done (easily reversed), and the steel brew burrs.
