Back in the days when I had Lido 3, brewing 1 litre of coffee are easy, my friend with car bring everyhing (plastic v.60-03, 1l decanter and scale, 1 electrical kettle for indoor and 1 camping stove for outdoor)...but now days are more simple everyone can bring their drip bags coffee, no need too bring coffe gears just hot water.

I'll often keep it simple and bring a Impress / Bobble Presse brew mug and rely on hot water dispensers, bringing either ground coffee or some whole bean and a grinder.

One thing to note is that the smell of dumped ground coffee in a hotel room can be problematic, I've heard stories of people being charged for smoking in a non-smoking room based on the smell of used coffee grounds, I try to dump the grounds outside the hotel room based on this.

I'm bringing handgrinder/Aeropress/scale/beans/Prismo if little space and recently Ode with SSP V1 Brew/MP if longer stay/room to spare. I don't bring a pouring kettle and brewers but use batch brewers where I'm staying or a few Aeropress in a row, french press also works. I could bring a 02 plastic V60 and melodrip and use local kettle, or get some other water dispersion thingy.

One of the biggest challenges while travelling is water. Get/buy good water. Good grinder and beans has been a waste with bad water

If I am vacationing with the car, I use an older version Flair (packs down small), a kettle thermometer and a Bellman 25C (the steamer-only version).

If I am on travel-lite plane-travel, I use an Aeropress and a battery-powered hand-whisk for the milky drinks.

In both instances, I enjoy finding a local roaster who will grind what I need and don't take my own coffee and a hand-grinder. It is fun trying new local coffees and roasters out. A few online searches before I travel and I usually find some local roasters. On the last trip, I found a roaster who was happy to send me a bag to the hotel so that it was waiting at reception for me when I checked in - and great coffee it was as well.

Traveled to San Antonio this week. Took my AeroPress and Varia hand grinder.
Pretty good with tap water but much improved with bottled water.

Flying and spending at least a week: Commandante, scale, and aeropress. Buy distilled locally when I get there and add salts.
Driving: Monolith flat, scale, multiple P/O devices and might even bring water.

If I am traveling internationally and will be in cities I just dig into the local coffee culture.
