I think this is a 'beauty in the eye of the beholder' type of question.

FTR I have a Q2 Penta and a K-Max. K-Max will give you a better cup but the q2 is no slouch. I bought the Q2 for group backpacking. Solo I'm bringing instant or the sad caffeine Clif Bars. At this point, however, if I am doing Aeropress and most travel situations I will bring the Q2 and have zero regrets.
