I finished a set of Hario V60 Japanese filters with the tab. I opened a fresh batch ordered from Amazon through the Hario seller. The draw down is quite a bit faster now. Depending on the coffee it can be anywhere from 30-45s faster. This has had an effect on taste. Nothing else...
i have tried doing searches here for a recipe or grind guide using the 1zpresso kplus for espresso or pourover but results i have found are old and not open for replies anymore...and does not have useful info as well.
i am happy to be redirected to a proper thread or if the...
I posted a few times about my horrible coffee, and I'm 90% sure it's the grind size that's the culprit, too fine to be exact. When I've played around with grind size, I realized that with the more coarse grinds I seem to make a better cup, although it's usually pretty weak. I...
A recent post from Luca set off a lightbulb for me - naturals are much easier to extract than washed coffees at a given roast level. Even ultra-light roasted naturals, I find that I can easily overextract, while washed coffees can be pushed almost as hard as you like, before...
A bit of an odd question. I'm trying to measure a large batch of coffee with an Acaia Pearl S scale. This is the previous version of the scale (serial 002....), not the update just released. Whenever the scale reaches 1000g, it says maximum. The scale has a maximum of 3000g per...

20:31 long, although you can watch most of it at 1.5x. Turn on the...
Hello all. I am deciding what size & material of Moka Pot (probably Bialetti) to get, and I'm curious what people's experiences / preferences on this have been.
I've been using an Aeropress and typically drink one cup of strong coffee in the morning; I'd prefer not to be...
Anyone try this yet?
I'm less interested in the bypass solution than whether it can truly brew well without any paper filters? Every other all metal brewer seems to have problems with cups either being too muddy or with grinds clinging to the mesh of the filter and clogging it...
Note: I typically brew ~22g to 25g coffee at 17:1 water ratio. For people who do smaller brews and/or lower water ratios, you might not have some of these drawbacks.
First, I did not find a coffee, that I had brewed 8 days in a row with a Kalita Wave 185 glass, better when...
