More details on all of the new products. 4:26 long. It sounds like it will be next year for the glass/stainless version, and it won't be inexpensive:
Thanks Jay for asking the same questions I would have asked :) .

My understanding is that the XL uses a different, larger cap and filters. So, I doubt the standard size flow control cap would fit the XL

I agree the clear version should just replace the dark current standard. My old almost clear 2007 version with the 'bad' plastic is used a couple times daily. I like seeing the coffee bed settle nice and flat. I expect the air we breath, water we drink, drugs taken and all the toxins in the plant foods most people eat are far worse for your health than a minute of 85C water in contact with plastic. Very unlikely my old a-p ever will die but the clear will replace it.

Perhaps they have to sell existing stock? However, the clear is $50 and the regular smoked and the Go are $40.

In other new AeroPress stuff, there are now fashionable covers:
- sleeves to go around the cylinder: https://aeropress.com/products/aeropress-sleeve
- to replace the Go's lid: https://aeropress.com/products/aeropres ... rative-lid

You are probably right then. Would suck having to pay for two different sizes
