I received a kitchenaid siphon for my bday. Super excited as it's my first new coffee equipment in a while as my upgraditis had subsided. It comes with the metal mesh filter and cloth but my question is whether you folks think I could use the hario paper filter adaptor in lieu of the kitchen aid device.

Anyone know the width of the hario adaptor?

Well. To answer my own question I purchased the hario paper filter adaptor and tried it in my siphon. Fit ok but basically stalled. Didn't implode at least. Back to the drawing board.
