How much by-pass is there? I suspect by-pass in a normal V60 brew does not amount to more than 10 mls in the average brew and maybe not even close to that. I watch the side of the V60 sometimes since I have a glass one, and see little to no by-pass. When I notice it, I can see a small droplet form over several seconds, then flow down between the filter and one of the ridges. So even if there are 3 or 4 droplets forming over several seconds, it would not add to more than my estimated 10 mls.
