My father-in-law needs a new coffee machine. The issue is he has a strong aversion to any plastic that could come into contact with the ground beans or coffee liquid. Anything out there I should look at?

Thanks!

A vintage spong grinder, a Bonavita PID gooseneck kettle and a Chemex?

It looks like the Ratio Eight machine is plastic free where it counts. Not cheap but very cool looking. One negative review I read was that the coffee it produces was not hot enough?

Decent Espresso were trying to make their machine have zero plastic anywhere along the water path, but seem to have settled on having some teflon tubing.
