First I've seen or heard of this machine. Essentially a Bonavita brewer with preinfusion mode and a hot plate.

Like the preinfusion option but don't like hot plates on coffee makers. Prefer glass carafes since we brew only what we are going to consume within minutes and would prefer to brew again if more coffee is required.

I bought my Bonavita BV1800TH with the SS thermal carafe but never use it. Switched to a Melita glass carafe. Easier to clean also. I like the see through carafe also. I've modded my plastic Melitta filter basket by adding two small drip holes on either end as opposed to larger oem single middle hole. This allows for finer grind without any overflow.

Double wall carafe would be cool (pardon the pun). Would prefer a non plastic filter basket that holds a #4 Melitta filter.
