Amazon lists it at 1.4 lbs (oddly, both the item weight and the shipping weight, which can't be right). Not sure the little coffee scale I have at the office will be able to weigh the AP, but I'll give it a try next week.

Wow, that is much heavier. Depending on your purposes (home use or backpacking) that could be an issue or non-issue.

Mine has proven to be the practically perfect solution for work. It's fast, coffee quality is great, and it's easy to clean up. Wouldn't take it backpacking, but car camping? Sure!
